What Stats provides
Stats presents CPU, GPU, memory, disk, network, battery, fan, temperature and other sensor readings in the macOS menu bar or a popover. Available modules depend on the Mac model and system interfaces, so a missing reading does not automatically indicate a hardware fault.
Keep privileged access narrow
Some sensors require a privileged helper. Enable only the modules that need it, note what the helper reads and keep its uninstall path available. The final menu-bar icon order is managed by macOS, not fully controlled by Stats.
